Open Mic on Tuesday nights have literally changed my life. As a recovering perfectionist returning to music after a 10 year hiatus, I was skeptical to give it go. The moment I walked into JSQ Lounge I felt right at home. Devin the MC is warm and welcoming. He creates a relaxed yet respectful vibe that allows artists of all walks of life to flourish. I’ll be forever grateful for JSQ lounge, but especially for the open mic nights. 🥰
We used the upstairs space for a private event last night. Perfect spot for 30 people or so. Tory the manager helped us put together a menu served buffet style and set us up with our own server all night so guests didn't have to go up and down the stairs to grab drinks. The food here is much better than your typical pub fare and we got compliments on it all night. They even made us a tray of cupcakes which aren't on the menu and were delicious and beautiful. One of the best parts about this place besides the food and the service is where it's located. A 2 minute walk from the Path Station or 1 minute walk from a parking garage down the alley where Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered in the Joker movie is fun and convenient for guests. You don't have to worry about the typical street parking woes that typically go along with going out in Jersey City, especially for easily rattled out of towners. All in all it was a fantastic evening and JSQ Lounge made it happen. Special shoutout to Pablo for the great service and running up and down those stairs last night.
Also been here for brunch and the food is a knockout as well. Definitely get the waffled chicken wings!!!

This place renovated shortly after I moved here. When they re-opened the manager was very welcoming and really welcoming to new guests, they recently opened the a kitchen and the wings were delicious. Down to earth, clean, cute and pleasant spot in JSQ!
I attended a friend's birthday party. I had a good time and a great experience.
Yesterday their were having delays due to signal problems I understand but is been 24 hours to be able to solve the issue and today still having issues and delays. Forget about social distancing when the train is delay at the station for over 40 minutes.
